I had lipo to legs going on 10 weeks ago. Initially I saw a big difference in my knee areas, and top of legs. At 4 weeks post op, my doctor gave me the ok to resume my running routine. I went right back to my 1 hour daily run. Now at almost 10 weeks post op, I feel like I can see very little difference in my legs from before I had the lipo. In reading this site, i am hoping I am just seeing swelling. I am frustrated, and hoping that I didn't damage the results of my surgery by starting back to soon to the running. I am now stuck as what I should do. I have been back to running for 5 weeks now, and hate to just stop to see what happens, but I also don't want to continue to damage my recovery. Any opinions would be helpful! I am concerned I will never see the results I had initially seen, and that I will be stuck with the bigger version I now have. (I was trying to contact Ann in Maryland, since she seems to have some knowledge in this area.. but no luck)
